Helsinki, Finland – May 28-29, 2024 – The BIOTRANSFORM project held its 4th consortium meeting in Helsinki on May 28-29, 2023. Hosted by the project coordinator VTT, the meeting gathered partners to review progress, address challenges, and chart the path ahead.
The first day featured two pivotal working sessions. The initial session focused on circularity in pathways and the utilization of tools, with an emphasis on strategies to enhance engagement with regional authorities. This session underscored the importance of integrating circular economy principles more deeply into project activities and fostering stronger regional collaborations.
In the second working session, the consortium turned its attention to the planning of the project's final conference. Scheduled for late 2024 or early 2025, the final conference is envisaged as a satellite event aligned with major industry gatherings. Additionally, discussions included potential panel topics for the European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (EUBCE) set for June 2024.
The day ended with a networking dinner where partners could socialise and strengthen their connections.
On the second day, the partners explored various perspectives on the general issues related to the project.
These discussions and collaborations show the project’s dedication to promoting circular bioeconomy solutions and building strong regional and international partnerships.
