At BIOFELDTAGE Burgenland on May 24th and 25th, our partner alchemia-nova proudly presented the BIOTRANSFORM project. The project is being carried out in six pilot regions, including Nordburgenland. Presentations and workshops focused on the progress in the region, particularly on relevant residue products such as straw, vineyard, and soy residues. Attendees gained insights into possible transition pathways for a circular bioeconomy in their region by showcasing possible high-value products from the residue products. The event facilitated connections among farmers, experts, and enthusiasts, fostering a collaborative community to actively support the project.
BIOFELDTAGE is pivotal in promoting sustainable agriculture and responsible production patterns, aligning with the "Bioland Burgenland, 12 Points for Smart Growth with Organic Products" initiative. This initiative aims to increase the organic farming share in Burgenland from 31% to 50% by 2027, highlighting innovative farming techniques and responsible consumption.
We are excited about the network built at the BIOFELDTAGE 2024 and look forward to continuing our efforts to promote a sustainable and prosperous agricultural future in Burgenland.
